SAMOT was founded in 1960 by current president Tomislav Jancar, and it began its offer of services to meet the demands of the then recently installed automobile industry in Brazil. SAMOT serves every segment, especially the automobile and auto part industries, always focused on quality and full compliance with delivery time requirements.With two units in São Paulo and another in São Bernardo do Campo, near the large vehicle manufacturers, SAMOT currently has about 1200 associates and more than 600 tool machines.

It processes 6000 tons of forged parts and 4200 tons of carbon, alloy and stain-less steel beams per year, as well as 1500 tons of aluminum beams.
